Andorra Airport – La Seu d’Urgell has designed 9 hangars on the land located in the northern area of the infrastructure, where a 600 m2 office building, a vertiport for drones and a new car park. The planning, specifically, foresees 3 large hangars of around 1,200 m2, and 6 medium-sized hangars, of around 600 m2, for companies and aviation in general.
It is a design that had to be developed because the surfaces available for new hangars are already all allocated and, even so, requests continue to arrive from companies in the aviation sector to build new ones.
The Airport currently has 14 hangars that are used by corporate aviation companies such as Andorra Aviation Group, as well as aircraft sales, repair services or aerial work companies. In addition, there are 5 plots already awarded to companies that plan to build hangars there.
